^Lot 68 Early Brazilian Army mkd Colt Gov't Model

Early Brazilian Army marked Colt Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol, #C1961, .45 ACP cal., 5'' barrel, blue finish, large diamond checkered walnut grips, with one two-tone lanyard loop magazine. Mfg'd early 1913. Right side of pistol additionally marked with Brazilian Army crest, and ''Exercito Brasileiro No. 15487/1961''. Condition is excellent as professionally restored, retaining approx. 99% blue. Grips remain crisp, action is tight, bore is very good with some frosting in the grooves. Magazine has also been restored. A beautiful example of a hard-to-find Government Model variation. Est.: $2,500-$4,000. (C&R/PPT)
