Scarce Ringtrigger Percussion Pepperbox, by J.R. Cooper, .39 cal., 3'' barrel group, scroll engraved frame marked ''J.R. Cooper, Patentee'', ring trigger, thumb safety, with varnished walnut bag-shaped grip. Condition is very good. Metal shows a dark mottled grey patina with scattered light pitting. Grips are fine with minor marks. Action is good. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. (Antique)
