Continental Single Shot Muff Pistol, numbered ''2'' (possibly one of a pair), .40 cal., 3-1/2'' part-round screw barrel, lightly engraved frame, probably originally blue and case colored, top barrel flat marked ''Portee/120 Metzer'', with fluted lightly carved fruitwood grip.
