Blunt & Syms Medium-Frame Underhammer Pepperbox Pistol, .31 cal., 6-shot, 2-1/2'' barrel, light to medium engraving to frame, with smooth walnut bag-shaped grips. Pistol features distinctive Blunt & Syms capping slot to right side of frame; engraving shows both scroll and floral type motifs. Condition is very good with general wear and silvering to finish. Barrel assembly may have been chemically cleaned at one point. Two nipples show losses to tips. Grips with light scuffs and minor oil darkening near metal contact points.
