WWII German Teno Enlisted Dagger, by Carl Eickhorn, 16'' overall in scabbard, 9-3/4'' hewer blade with single fuller. White celluloid grip panels are each marked on the inside with small Eickhorn squirrel trademark. Guard and pommel are nickel plated. Black enameled scabbard with nickel-plated chape and throat, with attached leather hanger. Blade is marked with ''Ges. Gesch'' (Patent Pending, above the Carl Eickhorn trademark; reverse of blade marked ''8037''). Condition is very good overall with approx. 40% nickel remaining on chape of scabbard, with light to moderate toning. Scabbard retains 75% original black paint with chips and losses. Original plating to bird's head pommel and guard show approx. 60%. Leather keeper has split at button hole. Blade shows carbon spotting and light cleaning, but with original unsharpened edge.
