Colt Double Barrel Shotgun, #469077, 12 ga., 30'' barrels, blue and case hardened finish, checkered pistol-grip walnut stock. Left barrel chamber area marked ''Colt's Pt. FA. Mfg Co/Hartford CT USA''. Pistol-grip cap adorned with gold-colored Rampant Colt logo. Approx. 50 double shotguns were mfg'd for Colt from 1961-1962 to test the market response to their possible introduction. They were all mfg'd by Fabrication Mechanique, Carron Frette, France. This is the actual firearm pictured on page 193 of the book ''Colt and Its Collectors'', by the Colt Collectors Assn. Condition is excellent showing just the slightest marks from handling and display. Action is tight, bore is excellent. Appears unfired. Est.: $1,800-$2,400.
