^Lot 190 Colt Single Action Army Revolver

Colt Single Action Army Revolver, #135535, .44-40 cal., 7-1/2'' barrel, originally blue and case hardened, one-piece ivory grips. Mfg'd 1890. Condition is very good as refinished. Frame, cylinder and straps retain 70%-80% later blue, as does ejector rod housing. Barrel has thinned and toned to approx. 25%. Markings are crisp and clear, screw slots are mostly straight with the exception of the butt screw. Action is crisp and locks up tight, bore is excellent. One of the earliest known serial numbers with ''Colt Frontier Six Shooter'' roll-die applied to left side of barrel. Est.: $4,000-$6,000.
