Victorian Cavalry Saber, by ''Hicks & Son, Leadenhall St., London, E.C.'', 33'' lightly gold washed and etched blade, 39'' overall, with triple wire wrapped skateskin handle, pierced guard with large crown-''VR'' cypher, leather strap and portapee. Condition is very good with toning to nickel-plated handle from age and minor discoloration of grip but no real losses. Blade needs light cleaning. Est.: $400-$600.
