Tower marked Flintlock Pistol, from the Revolutionary period, approx. .68 cal., 9'' barrel, full-length European walnut stock, lock marked ''Tower'' and crown-''GR'' with broadarrow markings. Brass pommel and triggerguard, correct button-head steel rammer remains. Early British proofmarks to top of barrel. Condition is very good with some repairs to forend area of stock at right side. Butt pommel with scuffs and scratches, losses near ramrod channel, and moderate general discoloring to barrel. Action functions as designed. Est.: $1,800-$2,400.
