Up Next is a Scarce and Interesting Find, We Have a Original British Pattern 1864 Nepalese-Snider 3 Band Rifle, Im Guessing its Chambered in .577 caliber, british parts given to the Nepalese apparently only made in 1864 and 65, only markings are Nepalese Characters. This is a Monster of a Rifle. Antique and No Background Check Required. The story begins more than two centuries ago in the exotic Kingdom of Nepal, located at the foot of the Himalayas. In 1814, the formidable Gurkhas of the Nepalese army invaded northern India, then under the aegis of the British East India Company, and occupied a trio of hill stations. The English did not take this lightly, as, among other political considerations, they could lose an area with some of the most agreeable summer weather on the subcontinent. They counter-attacked, and, though initially rebuffed, after several tries the company forces, under General David Ochterlony, finally subdued the Gurkhas, invaded the Katmandu Valley and threatened the capital. Realizing their position was now untenable, the Nepalese allowed the British to establish a resident at Katmandu and permitted them to cross Nepal and trade with Tibet. As well, the company was allowed to recruit Gurkha soldiers into its armies. As a further part of the agreement, the British vowed to supply the Nepalese armies with small arms, artillery and ammunition. This association ultimately resulted in a huge stockpile of materiel ? some 430 tons of everything from small arms, edged weapons, machine guns and artillery to ammunition and accessories ? that was ultimately allowed to languish in the arsenal until it was finally, and tortuously, brought into the United States several years ago. The amount in the stockpile is so huge that it still has not been completely sorted, and new marvels appear on an almost daily basis ? among them Snider Rifles.

The lot contains a Swept Hilt Rapier Sword by Coulaux & Cie Klingenthal this sword has the Pomel and Fore Quillion and Rear Quillion (cross guard) comes with a decorative Loop Guard, The grip has the metal wire wrap, the blade measures approx 31.5" in length comes with a rounded bottom rather then a pointed tip. the Ricasso shows "Coulaux and Cie" with a "G" then the name "Klingethal" overall length of sword is approx 38.5". The Coulaux family, or Coulaux & Cie (?& Cie.? is the equivalent to ?& Company? in English) purchased the royal forge and swordmaking facilities of Klingenthal, France in 1838. Prior to sale, however, they were the facility?s operators from 1801-1836. They were blademakers, fourbisseurs (cutlers) and military sword manufacturers. The production of fencing blades and weapons began in 1850, and the Coulaux operators also exported their fencing blades to fourbisseurs and fencing supply houses such as Castello Fencing Equipment Co. of the United States and Souzy de Lacam of France. Ultimately a tumultuous era of occupations, liberations and World Wars suppressed the manufacturing down to only a dozen workers in 1955, mainly producing forged sickles and civilian tools. The forge hammers of Klingenthal eventually fell silent on February 1st, 1962.

Up Next We Have an OId German Pre-WWI Gewehr 88/05 S Commission Rifle by Erfurt, Non Matching, Barrel Bands Marked with reserve regiment in the Imperial German army. The gun has definitely been arsenal re-worked, After service in Germany, it was shipped off to Turkey for more service during WWI. These rifles were originally chambered for 7.92mm Patrone 88 ammunition and had a fixed magazine. As with virtually all Gewehr 88 rifles in service, this example was converted to take the 7.92?57mm Mauser S Patrone, and has an S stamped above the chamber, indicating the conversion. The Spitzer-shaped S Cartridge was ballistically superior to the M/88, however the chamber required modification to accept the thicker walled shell casing. This particular rifle does has notched plates welded to the rear of the receiver on either side to accept the 1905 pattern stripper clips, making this a Gewehr 88/05 S. It also has the tell tale "notch" cut into the rear of the receiver, as the loaded clip would run into this area.

The Model 1893 Spanish Mauser was developed into several variants, including a shortened carbine adopted by the Spanish as the M1895 - M1913 - M1916 short rifles. All versions of the rifle saw extensive service in the Spanish Army, beginning in the Spanish?American War in 1898, the Rif War of 1920?1927, and the Spanish Civil War of 1936?1939. The M1916 short rifles remained in production in Spain until 1951. Adopted in 1893, the M91 Carcano Cavalry Carbine was the smaller variant of the standard-issue 1891 infantry rifle. This model was much shorter and lighter than the original, which made it more maneuverable on the battlefield, particularly for light cavalry units. This model also featured the spike bayonet, which gave cavalrymen an additional back-up if they were not using their sabers. Findings from the internet below: The Rifle 7.62mm 2A/2A1 (also known as the Ishapore 2A/2A1) is a 7.62?51mm NATO calibre bolt-action rifle adopted as a reserve arm by the Indian Armed Forces in 1963. The design of the rifle - initially the Rifle 7.62mm 2A - began at the Rifle Factory Ishapore of the Ordnance Factories Board in India, soon after the Sino-Indian War of 1962. The Ishapore 2A/2A1 has the distinction of being the last bolt-action rifle designed to be used by a regular military force other than specialized sniper rifles. Externally the Ishapore 2A/2A1 rifle is based upon (and is almost identical to) the .303 British calibre SMLE Mk III* rifle, with the exception of the distinctive ?square? (10 or 12 round) magazine and the use of the buttplate from the 1A (Indian version of the FN FAL) rifle. The 2A was designed to allow the British Pattern 1907 (P'07) sword bayonet used on the SMLE MkIII to be attached. There were other differences to the Ishapore 2A/2A1 rifles that include the use of improved steel (to handle the increased pressures of the 7.62mm NATO round), and a redesigned extractor to cope with the rimless round. Here is a Cool Simson & Co. Suhl Germany WWI Mauser That Appears in great condition dated 1917 on the receiver. This rifle appears in fully functioning condition.

German WWII Service Worn Wehrmacht M35 Double Decal Helmet with Liner- Model 1935 German WWII Early Apple Green "double decal" helmet with a German Eagle decal on the left side, and a "National Colors" decal on the right. The use of the second decal was discontinued in 1940, and in 1943 it was ordered that helmets with the national colors have them removed, so finding a helmet with both still intact is a real treat and these definetly feel like the original decals. PLEASE NOTE; IT is up to the bidder to determine authenticity as we do not have a COA, and we are not War Helmet Experts; please let us know if you need additional information. There are no major dents or other issues, and the areas without paint show a lovely lightly brown oxidized patina. The interior of the helmet shows much more of the original paint, though there is some oxidation and flaking. The leather liner shows nicely with some minor wear; there is a stamp on the leather showing Kopfweite Gr. 60 and Stahlhaube Nr. 68 which indicates the Head width in this case is 60, and the other means steel hood shell number which is 68 in this case, then at the front of the leather liner shows Karl Heisler Berlin C2 DRGM, on the interior of the helmet is stamped 725 then under the ear strap stamped E T 6 8 Which, indicates ET is the Manufacture Eisenh?ttenwerk Thale im Harz, The chin strap is in good condition as well, super cool Helmet so get your bid on today!

The helmet is flanked on each side by dual clusters of seven ventilation holes, with decals applied in between. The right decal consists of a NSDAP party emblem in the form of a red shield bearing a white disc overlaid by a black mobile swas emblem, The left decal consists of a black shield overlaid by an Ordnungspolizei eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swas emblem, on top of an oval oak wreath, also measuring . Four rivets are evenly distributed around the circumference of the helmet, securing in place the interior fixtures The rim of the helmet is fully crimped, facilitating a smooth edge. The interior features four double-overlaid cork patches, held in place by the aforementioned rivets, with four blackened pebbled leather straps emanating from the patches. Affixed to the cork is a tan-coloured leather liner with nine fingers, each of which is stamped at the top with a hole through which is looped for a drawstring with blackened magnetic metal end pieces. The forehead of the liner bears multiple rows of ventilation holes. The crown has a padded tan-coloured leather cushion, providing added protection for the wearer?s head. The Astra 3000 is a compact, single-action, semi-automatic pistol produced in Spain by Astra Unceta y Cia. It was the second-last version of the famous and distinctive line of Astra ?Tube Slide? pistols, which were all simple direct blowback designs. It was first introduced in 1947 to replace the Astra Model 300, and was produced until 1956 when it was replaced by the Astra Model 4000 Falcon. The Astra 3000 was intended to compete with other compact, blowback semi-auto pistols, like the Walther PP, Mauser HSc and the Beretta M1934. It was available chambered in 9mmK (.380 Auto) and 7.65mm (.32 ACP) with magazine capacities of 6 and 7 rounds, respectively. The pistol features a frame mounted manual safety, as well as a grip safety and magazine disconnect/safety. The pistol is a hammerless/striker-fired design and incorporates a loaded-chamber indicator that protrudes from the rear of the slide. Until 1953, the magazine catch was on the heel of the butt, like the Astra 300, but on later versions the magazine release button is moved to left side of the frame behind the trigger guard.

LAKE ERIE Chemical Riot Gas Mask For respiratory protection in atomspheres containing all types of tear and sickening gas including cs, used in police work. A division of Smith & Wesson Inc. The markings on the mask suggest it was made in 1971 The rubber is soft and not brittle or fragile . The Lake Erie Chemical Company was founded just after World War I by a former commander in the Army's chemical weapons unit. While the world was moving towards banning the use of any chemical weapons, many in the military saw a use for less toxic chemical weapons and worked to create mild weapons like tear gas. They then marketed these chemicals to police departments and often showed up at high profile protests to 'demonstrate' how effective their products were in breaking up the protests. And of course if you sell tear gas, then you have to sell gas masks too! This mask is from a time period when the company was owned by Smith and Wesson, the well known gun manufacturer and is a unique item for Smith and Wesson collectors. They later sold the company to MSA (Mine Safety Appliances) who today is one of the leaders in respiratory protection. It's also a really cool costume piece for those who collect gas masks. This is sold strictly as a collectible item as there is no way to know if the filters are good (or have become toxic) after 50 plus years There are two filters, a prefilter for particulates then a chemical filter cartridge.
